In this presentation, we will introduce the use of the Raiqon AI platform at BMW, a case study that shows how AI in requirements management can accelerate product development while improving quality.

BMW recognized early on that AI is of strategic importance for both short-term acceleration and long-term competitiveness. The company’s environment requires strict security, scalability, flexibility, and ease of use. Key concerns included time to market, resource efficiency, and delays in review processes.

After a thorough market analysis including more than a dozen AI tools, BMW chose Raiqon in 2024 as the most promising AI platform for requirements management. An initial pilot test with selected users was successful and was followed by a more comprehensive evaluation. Thanks to close, agile collaboration, Raiqon was able to quickly implement BMW’s additional functional requirements and validate solutions with real-world data.

The results include deterministic AI outputs, broader tool support, scalability to millions of artifacts, and significantly faster review cycles through AI-based authoring and quality analysis. BMW plans to deploy Raiqon for over 10,000 engineers starting in January 2026. At ReConf 2026, we will present BMW’s key use cases along with current metrics that demonstrate the production readiness and business impact of AI.
